01About Japanese HINOKI

Hinoki (Japanese cypress) offers outstanding durability and a refined fragrance, and has long been used in shrines, temples, and many other buildings. It is ideal for flooring, paneling, and decking. In particular, Shikoku’s Ehime Prefecture is a key hinoki-growing region.

Please note that clear-grade hinoki is limited in supply, so large-volume shipments are difficult. We recommend consolidating orders with YAKISUGI (charred cedar) or structural members when possible.
Please note: we generally do not sell logs or unprocessed rough boards (without secondary processing).
