We are pleased to announce that Miaki Atelier, a building located on the grounds of Kyoei Lumber in Ehime, Japan, has been featured on ArchDaily, an international architecture platform that introduces architectural projects, design studios, materials, and spatial design from around the world.
We first learned about the feature from one of our customers in Chile, who kindly told us, “Kyoei Lumber’s Miaki Atelier is on ArchDaily.” It was a great pleasure and honor for us to see this familiar building introduced alongside architectural projects from many parts of the world.
Please visit the ArchDaily article for more details.
Miaki Atelier was completed in 2022 and designed by Tamotsu Teshima Architect & Associates.
The building is a place where visitors can experience Kyoei Lumber’s approach to wood processing, design, and craftsmanship. It showcases the possibilities of wood materials and custom wood processing, including surface finishing, slotted paneling, rough-sawn textures, and carefully detailed wood applications.
We have welcomed many visitors from more than 20 countries to Miaki Atelier, Miaki Place, and our factories. We would be delighted to welcome architects, designers, builders, and importers from around the world to visit us in Japan, tour our factory, and experience the quality and beauty of our wood products firsthand.
